Recovery-Aware Leadership™ is a leadership program designed for individuals and organizations operating under sustained pressure, complexity, and moral weight.

Rather than focusing on performance alone, this work recognizes the human realities leaders carry; including stress, burnout, ethical strain, and the long-term cost of holding responsibility.

The program supports leaders and cultures who want to think clearly, act intentionally, and remain aligned when the stakes are high.

What Recovery-Aware Leadership™ Is

Recovery-Aware Leadership™ is a non-clinical leadership development program grounded in reflection, integrity, and moral responsibility.

It is informed by recovery wisdom, not as treatment or personal disclosure, but as a leadership lens that understands:

  • Human limits matter

  • Moral strain accumulates

  • Unexamined pressure distorts judgment

  • Cultures reflect the inner condition of their leaders

This program creates space for leaders to repair drift, restore clarity, and lead from steadiness rather than force.

The recovery-aware perspective includes, but is not limited to, experience with alcohol-free living, substance recovery, burnout, moral injury, and other forms of sustained strain that can affect leadership capacity over time.

What This Program Is Not

To be clear, Recovery-Aware Leadership™:

  • Is not therapy

  • Does not involve diagnosis, treatment, or clinical intervention

  • Does not require personal recovery, disclosure, or participation in recovery programs

  • Is not about vulnerability for its own sake

This is leadership work: ethical, reflective, and grounded in real-world responsibility.
